Building / Zone Device Map
Enter the building address, zoom in, then select a zone/device and click the map to place a rough pin location.
Includes main zones, adopted devices, and unassigned planned zones.
Adds the zone, opens map workflow, and lets you place pin/area and full details now. Device assignment can be done later.
Complete Building Setup first (find address, confirm building pin, draw outline, and save floor count). Zone/device mapping unlocks after that and uses this shared building layout for all zones.
Advanced Details (Optional)
On mobile, this can open the camera.

Building Outline Setup
Find address, click the building to confirm it, draw the outline, set floors, then continue (press Enter).
Step 1
Find Address
Locate and center the building on the map.
Step 2
Confirm Building Pin
Click the building on the map to confirm the correct structure.
Step 3
Draw Building Outline
Auto detect or draw the building boundary on the map.
Step 4
Set Floor Count
Enter how many floors the building has.
Step 5
Assign Zone Colors
Apply parent-zone colors to downstream zones.
Step 6
Main Boiler Location
Mark where the main boiler/circulator is on the map.
Step 7
Save & Finish
Save the building setup to the hub.
Zone colors are automatically inherited from the parent zone (Zone 1 / Zone 2) for consistent mapping.
Zone Setup
Use the saved building outline as the base. Place all zone pins and areas inside the building outline.
Tip: Complete Building Setup first. In Zone Setup, choose a zone/device and place pins or zone areas inside the saved building outline.
Commissioning Checklist
Track install verification steps for each main zone or adopted zone device.

Backup / Restore
Export or restore hub configuration (zones, users, alerts, site map, commissioning). Secrets are redacted in exports.
New Zone Device Onboarding
Use this when installing another Raspberry Pi zone node (supply/return probes + dry-contact call sensing).
